Dannie Lee Bell of 101 A East Pollock St, Mount Olive was charged with First Degree Kidnapping and Second Degree Rape. He was being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
Police said the alleged rape was not related in any way to the discovery of two bodies in the same cemetery later in the weekend.

This is not the first time Bell has been accused of a sex crime. He was also charged with assault on a child less than 12 years of age by the Mount Olive Police Department in December of 2000.
