Durham officer charged with DWI

DURHAM A DPD spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that Officer N.E. Keith was arrested around 3 a.m. on Interstate 85 near Hillandale Road.

Keith has been with the department since 1997 and is assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau. He is on administrative leave with pay pending an investigation. He was not on duty at the time of his arrest.
