Student accused of assaulting teacher

GARNER According to an arrest warrant, 16-year-old Donte Rashawn Fowler grabbed, pushed up against a wall and struck teacher Casey Clemments in the head. The warrant says Clemments was knocked to the floor.

Clemments was doing hall monitor duty at the time. He was checked out at the school as a precaution, but is expected to be okay.
