Three held at gunpoint in armed robbery

Two gunmen held three Rocky Mount residents at gunpoint and robbed them early Saturday morning.Police say one of the men knocked on the door, and the other stormed in when the residents opened it.

Three people - Nina Mullis, 29, David Wayne Jones, 19, and Alma Cruz, 30, were held at gunpoint while the suspects went through the home.

Officials say they took two computers, a Playstation, a DVD player, the victims' cell phones, Jones' wallet and keys to his vehicle.

They also tried to leave in the Jones' vehicle, but couldn't because it was stuck in a ditch.

The suspects are identified as a black male, 5 ft. 10 in., 22-26 years old, 180 pounds, wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans, and a male wearing a mask, gloves, and a hoodie, also 5 ft. 10 in., and 180 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Rocky Mount Police.

There is no word if any of the robbery victims was injured.
