Wake County kicked off its annual holiday Holiday Wrap-up Recycling Program Saturday. The program - which runs until January 17, 2010, allows residents to bring in their holiday items and recycle them, instead of throwing them away.
Wake County accepts Christmas trees, corrugated cardboard, chip board, holiday cards, magazines and catalogs, SBS board, and wrapping paper (no foil).
For information on locations and times, or to see what your county accepts, visit your county's recycling website.
