Shooting suspect captured in garbage dumpster

RALEIGH

Arrest warrants say Darryl Self Tillery, 20, ran from officers. He was later found hiding in the garbage bin. Tillery is the third person charged in the shooting of Lee Fenner in his home at 416 Rose Lane on October 12. Warrants say Tillery is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, first degree burglary and resisting a public officer.

Charles Evans, 22, and Jonathan Cooke, 26, both of 557 Rose Lane, are also facing assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury an first-degree burglary charges. Evans and Cooke were both arrested October 18. They are in the Wake County Jail.

Tillery is also currently in the Wake County Jail on a $300,000 bond.
