Police investigate shooting in Raleigh

Rawls Drive was closed while police investigated a shooting

Police in Raleigh said one man was taken to the hospital after he was shot early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Rawls Drive around 3:30 a.m.

They say they found 33-year-old Steven Donnell King wounded.

He was taken to WakeMed for treatment.
