Now, the Sheriff's Office is investigating its first murder of 2011.
On January 2, the son-in-law of 83-year-old Angel Delacruz found the man inside a house at 201 Rose Street. The home is close to Spring Lake.
A news conference was planned for later Tuesday to talk about the case.
