Fire officials say they arrived on scene to heavy smoke and fire showing from the second floor of a four to five unit apartment building.
Nobody was home when they got on scene, so they had to make forcible entry into the unit that was on fire.
Once inside, they were able to knock down the flames - containing the fire to that single unit, which was destroyed.
No one was hurt in the blaze, but officials are calling it suspicious.
The State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to examine the fire's cause.
