NC State researchers say the eagle pair has produced young in each of the last three years, and it is one of just 40 that are under observation over the internet nationwide.
NC State says the purpose of the camera is to stimulate interest in Bald Eagles by letting people in the Triangle know the birds can often nest right in their backyards.
The university says the camera is getting heavy interest. Even though it was recently installed, it's already getting thousands of online visitors.
