NASH COUNTY --
A Nash County couple is in jail after police say they forged dozens of prescriptions using prescription pads stolen from doctors in the Nash and Wilson County areas.Ennis Christopher Clark, 39, and Krista Lee Clark, 38, were found with more than 900 prescription pills during a search of their Midway Road home, investigators said.
Deputies say they also found prescription pads from several different doctors, as well as already forged prescriptions ready to be filled.
Ennis Clark has been charged with trafficking opium/heroin, and is being held on a $100,000 secured bond.
Krista Clark was also charged with trafficking, in addition to six counts of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud/forgery. Her bond is $120,000.
Both are due in court on Tuesday.
