Samaritan's Purse headed for Japan's danger zone

CHARLOTTE Samaritan's Purse is a non-denominational evangelical humanitarian organization.

Three members of the relief organization are expected to fly out of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport Friday for Tokyo to deliver 92 tons of supplies.

Six members of Samaritan's Purse are currently in Sendai -- a city hammered by the tsunami.

The organization's president is Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham.
