Man arrested in Raleigh shooting

Raleigh police have arrested a man in connection with an overnight shooting that critically injured one person.Police say Nhan Thuong Le, 37, fled the scene after the shooting but was later arrested Sunday morning.

Authorities say that on Sunday around 2:00 a.m., police officers responded to a shooting outside the Café Trang restaurant on Capital Boulevard.

Police found Tu Hoang Nguyen, 35, near the restaurant with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to WakeMed with life-threatening injuries.

Police say a dispute lead to the altercation outside of Café Trang.

The suspect, who fled the scene, was later arrested at an apartment in the 1500 block of Sunbow Falls Lane.

Nhan Thuong Le was arrested on an attempted murder charge and locked up in the Wake County Jail.

Raleigh Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
