One person killed in Raleigh crash

RALEIGH Police say Jorge Flores, 23, was speeding on New Hope Road when his car slammed into another car that was making a left turn from Marsh Creek Road.

Flores' car struck a curb, overturned, and skidded about 350 feet.

Paramedics pronounced Flores dead at the scene.

Doctors at WakeMed treated his passenger for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger of the second car were not seriously hurt.
