Police need help catching robbery suspect

Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man accused of robbing a Raleigh bank.The hold-up happened just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Banco de la Gente at 4011 Capital Boulevard.

Investigators say the suspect displayed a weapon and demanded money, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds. In addition to the clothing that can be seen in the photos, police say the suspect wore an earring.
