Contempt hearing in Edwards case pushed back

PITTSBORO, N.C.

Judge Michael Morgan pushed the contempt hearing back to January during another hearing Monday afternoon in Pittsboro.

Edwards' former mistress Rielle Hunter is suing former Edwards staffer Andrew Young for the return of personal property, including the purported sex tape.

Hunter says Young, his wife and their lawyers violated a judge's order by sharing information with federal prosecutors pursuing criminal charges against Edwards - and they should be held in contempt.

The Youngs say they were complying with a federal judge's orders.
