As ABC11 first reported earlier this week, the three-term council member was already under investigation for her alleged handling of absentee ballots.
On Tuesday, Lyons came into her polling location to attempt to vote, but the poll workers said their book showed she had already voted absentee.
"She was asked if she had already voted. She said no," said Cherie Poucher. "I asked if she voted downtown, and then remembered she had."
Lyons wasn't allowed to vote and because she didn't vote twice, elections officials say technically no crime was commited.
ABC11 reached out to Lyons for comment, but we haven't heard back.
