The Person County Sheriff's Office said Megan Trainor, of Floyd Hicks Road in Timberlake, was arrested by deputies. She went before a magistrate Wednesday and posted a $100,000 bond.
In addition to the indecent liberties charge, Trainor is also accused of preparing obscene photographs. The case allegedly involves a male student.
Trainor has been suspended from her job as a math teacher at Person County High School.
Deputies had been searching for Trainor since the allegations came to light last week.
