According to police, two of the male suspects approached a Moe's Southwest Grill manager as he was leaving the restaurant just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
The manager told police the men showed a gun and got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Authorities received a description of the suspect vehicle from a 911 call.
Later that evening officers spotted a SUV matching the description on outbound Capital Boulevard.
Police determined the Jeep Cherokee was stolen and attempted to make a traffic stop. That stop turned into a chase and the suspects ended up crashing at Raleigh and Crabtree boulevards.
The four suspects fled the vehicle. Three men and one woman, who are between the ages of 18 and 21, were arrested.
