Parents complained that Melissa Hussain - an 8th grade teacher at West Lake Middle in Apex - wrote negative comments about her class on her Facebook page.
District spokesperson Greg Thomas confirmed that Hussain had been suspended, but wouldn't comment about what Hussain was accused of writing because of confidentiality rules.
Wake County School Board Chairman Ron Margiotta told ABC 11 he had gotten some of the complaints from parents.
