The employee was able to fend off the suspect. He then fled the area on foot.
Police say during the struggle, the suspect should have received a wound to the side of his ribcage area that would require medical attention.
The suspect is described as an African American man in his mid-20s, 5' 10" - 6' tall, with a slim build and a clean shaven face.
He was wearing a dark hoodie and dark jeans.
Authorities say at this time there is no information or evidence linking the suspect to the series of recent sexual assaults committed in and around the Fayetteville area.

Also, persons with any information about anybody with a recent unexplained wound to the side of the ribcage area are urged to call.
