It happened just before 5 p.m. Thursday in the 4500 block of Hargrove Road.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found 35-year-old Corey Lamont Jackson unconscious inside an apartment.
Paramedics rushed him to WakeMed where doctors pronounced him dead a short time later.
Police said Friday that Jerome Harris, 37, is now charged with murder.
Detectives said Jackson and Harris knew each other before the shooting, but did not give any other details.
