ATLANTIC CITY -- Police said a woman is facing charges after striking multiple parked vehicles outside an Atlantic City casino.
Thirty-nine-year-old Joanna Kostas of Mays Landing, New Jersey, is charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and unlawful taking of means of conveyance.
At 3:05 a.m. Friday, police responded to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino valet area for a report of a vehicle striking multiple parked vehicles.
Upon arrival, police said Kostas was already detained by hotel security officers.
Police said Kostas entered an unoccupied vehicle waiting in a valet lane to be parked with the keys in the ignition. While attempting to leave, she struck four parked, unoccupied vehicles.
