The Bicycle Man taking donations in Raleigh Saturday

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Bicycle Man in Fayetteville will be at Vector Security Saturday May 7 at 5605 Chapel Hill Rd in Raleigh from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for a bike drive.

Anyone can bring bicycles there to be donated.

The charity is run by Ann Mathis in Fayetteville. She's the widow of Moses Mathis, also known as the Bicycle Man, who started collecting donated bikes and giving them away 25 years ago.

Every year, the group hands out hundreds of bicycles to children who otherwise wouldn't get one at Christmas.
