Body found near railroad tracks by NC 54 in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating after a body was found near railroad tracks Sunday morning.

Officers said the body was located near NC 54 and Apex Highway around 11 a.m.

Officials did not release the person's identity or how that person died.
