RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Several people were injured Monday in a three-vehicle wreck on Capital Boulevard.

Police said a 2005 Honda driven by H Cen Sui Rcom, 19, of Raleigh made a right turn onto northbound Capital Boulevard from the parking lot of Starmount Shopping Center at 3316 Capital Blvd., and failed to yield to another vehicle, a 2011 Ford driven by Thomas Matthew Kincaid, 54, of Wake Forest, who was traveling northbound on Capital.

The collision knocked Kincaid's Ford underneath the rear axle of a tractor trailer driven by Robert Warren Young, 70, of Martin Creek, Mich.

The truck dragged the car a ways before coming to a stop.

Both Sui Rcom and Kincaid suffered severe injuries and were taken to WakeMed.

Police said all the people involved were wearing seatbelts, and alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the incident.

Young and his passenger in the tractor trailer were not injured.
