One person killed in Chapel Hill head-on crash

CHAPEL HILL (WTVD) -- Chapel Hill police are investigating a head-on crash that killed one person Thursday night.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. on Raleigh Road near where it crosses with Greenwood Road.

According to investigators, a vehicle was driving the wrong way on Raleigh Road when another car slammed into it head-on.

The driver of one of the vehicles died at UNC Hospitals.

The other was not seriously hurt.
