Suspect sought in Chapel Hill bank robbery

CHAPEL HILL (WTVD) -- The Chatham County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Chapel Hill.

Shortly after noon on Thursday, a suspect wearing a blonde wig entered the First Citizens Bank and demanded money from a bank teller.

The suspect was wearing a dark-colored jacket and may have been armed.

Investigators are requesting public assistance identifying the person responsible.

No one was physically harmed during the incident.
