Fayetteville church estimates thousands of dollars in damages after Sunday fire

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Fire crews in Fayetteville responded to a fire Sunday afternoon at the Clinton Chapel Holiness Church located on Hooks Street.

The fire happened at around 2:30 p.m. between services as church members were eating in the fellowship hall.

Damages were estimated to be $30,000.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
