Johnston County high school teacher faces drug trafficking charge

H.S. teacher arrested on drug charge
A Johnston County high school teacher, who lives in Knightdale, was booked into the Wake County jail on a host of charges

KNIGHTDALE, NC (WTVD) -- A Johnston County high school teacher who lives in Knightdale faces a host of drug charges.



Brittany Alexandria Coley, 22, of Woodfield Lane, was booked into the Wake County jail Friday.



She's charged with manufacturing marijuana, drug trafficking, possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling for keeping or selling controlled substances.



Bond was set at $250,000.



Johnston County school officials confirmed that Coley is a social studies teacher at West Johnston High School. She started her employment in August, 2014.



A representative with the school district said Coley has been suspended with pay.



Ashlyn Coley, 19, Tracy Frost, 52, and Susan Frost, 44, were also arrested with Coley and face similar charges.
