Empty Bowls raising money for Urban Ministries of Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Top Triangle restaurant chefs and bowl artisans join forces for the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser for Urban Ministries of Durham.

Urban Ministries of Durham is a non-sectarian downtown Durham charity that provides food, shelter and a future to those in need. In a single year it can help as many as 300 people end their homelessness.

Empty Bowls will take place March 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Durham Convention Center.
