Pender County fire department washes fish off of I-40

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Penderlea Fire Department washed a lot of dead fish off of Interstate 40 this weekend.

The fish were left stranded on the interstate after flood waters from Florence receded.

The department said the section of I-40 was near Wallace.
