Firefighters find dead person outside 2 burning buildings in Harnett County

SANFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- Firefighters in Harnett County found a body in the backyard of a property where two buildings were on fire.

It happened Friday night off Acorn Lane about five miles east of Cameron.

The sheriff's office said a death investigation is underway.

No other details have been released about the case.
