TOTOWA, New Jersey -- Some first responders in New Jersey got a sunrise call for help - a deer caught in a cemetery fence.

Around 6:15 on Sunday morning, the animal somehow wedged itself between the bars.

Members of the Totowa Fire Rescue team managed to calm the deer and widen the bars so it could break free.

The deer did suffer a gash to its side, but is expected to heal.
