Hoke County raid finds marijuana, shotgun

RED SPRINGS (WTVD) -- A Hoke County man is in custody Monday after a raid in the 300 block of N. McPhatter Road in Red Springs.

The Special Operations Unit of the Hoke County Sheriff's Office arrested Donald Ray Locklear, 43, on Sunday after executing a search warrant and finding 2,268 grams of marijuana, scales and a shotgun at the residence.

Locklear was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by a felon. He is being held under a $10,000 secured bond.
