Durham police looking for car that drove through overnight checkpoint

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are searching for a silver sedan after it rammed through an overnight checkpoint and rolled over an officer's foot.

It happened just before 1 a.m. on University Drive near Forest Hills Park where officers set up a checkpoint.

The driver of the sedan refused to stop and rolled over an officer's foot, according to the Durham Police Watch Commander.

Police are still looking for the driver.
