DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police arrested a man after a car chase through east Durham overnight Wednesday.
The pursuit began around 12:35 a.m. on Juniper Street. Officers spotted a car that matched the description of a vehicle used in an armed robbery about 15 minutes earlier at the Family Fare on Old Chapel Hill Road.
The chase finally ended around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Holloway Street and Guthrie Avenue after officers deployed stop sticks to disable the suspect's car.
The driver was identified as 23-year-old Jordan Terrell of Durham. He was charged with felony fleeing to elude law enforcement officers and possession of cocaine with the intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver.
Terrell posted a $50,000 bond and was released from jail.
