DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Durham authorities are searching for a hit-and-run suspect that left a man seriously injured on Saturday.
It happened right before midnight on Holloway Street near Hoover Road.
Officials said that the man was crossing the street when an SUV heading west on Holloway Street toward downtown hit him.
According to authorities, the suspect's vehicle is a mid to late 90s white or grey SUV registered to license plate NCPFT-7694. It is possibly a Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer and should have substantial front-end damage.
The man was taken to the hospital. He is listed as critical but stable, according to officials.
