Local students create mural for Raleigh
Local students are helping to create a mural that will be shown on Davie Street in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Local kids are showing their artistic talent, and soon you will be able to see their work in downtown Raleigh.

Kindergarteners at Root Elementary School grabbed the paint and got to work on a three-panel mural that will soon decorate the outside of old historic Stone's Warehouse on Davie Street.

The entire school came up with the idea that will mask the renovations for a future food hall.

Several other local schools are also contributing artwork.
