Delta flight deplaned after threat at Newark Airport

NEWARK, N.J. (WTVD) -- Passengers on a Delta Airlines flight got a scare on Monday after their plane had to be taken to a secure area at Newark's Liberty International Airport.

Authorities said a man called in a threat against Delta Airlines Flight 69. The threat was not believed to be credible.

Still, passengers were forced to deplane on the runway.

The flight was travelling from London to Newark.
