Stretch of Fort Bragg Rd closed after pedestrian struck

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A stretch of Fort Bragg Road in Fayetteville has been closed after a pedestrian was struck Wednesday.

The Fayetteville Police Department is investigating the crash, which happened on Fort Bragg Road near Glenville Avenue.

All lanes on Fort Bragg Road between Glenville Avenue and N. Churchill Drive have been closed. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route during the closure.

The pedestrian who was struck has not been identified. They were taken to the hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
