Gas leak closes Fayetteville pharmacy

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Emergency crews responded to a pharmacy in Fayetteville Tuesday afternoon after a gas leak.

It happened at the Walgreens in the 3300 block of Ramsey Street near Tokay Drive.

Work crews replacing the roof apparently broke a small gas line that supplied the heating and air system for the building.

The business was evacuated and the parking lot closed while gas crews stopped the leak.

No injuries were reported.
