Fayetteville restaurants join "Feed the City" campaign

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Your daily coffee run or lunch break can help feed the hungry in Cumberland County.

Eight area restaurants are donating ten percent of their earnings from Wednesday. It's a part of the "Feed the City" campaign, which benefits the Fayetteville Urban Ministry.

Community leaders are asking the public to eat out for all three meals to support the effort.

Participating restaurants include:

-Buckhead Steakhouse (5554 Camden Road)

-Circa 1800 (108 Person Street)

-Dairy Queen - Westwood (430 Westwood Shopping Center)

-Five Guys (2811 Raeford Road)

-Marquis Market (116 Person St.)

-New Deli (2153 Valleygate Dr.)

-Newk's Eatery (745 Cross Creek Mall)

-Rude Awakening Coffee House (227 Hay Street)
