Two students injured in Fayetteville school bus accident

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A Cumberland County school bus was involved in a collision that injured at least two elementary school children Friday morning.

It happened around 8 a.m. on Morganton Road at McFadyen Drive, near the Devonwood subdivision.

Officials with Cumberland County Schools tell ABC11 that bus number 3 was heading to Morganton Elementary School with 41 students on board when the accident happened.

Two students were taken to Cape Fear Valley Health System with unknown injuries.
