Fayetteville police investigating child's death
FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are investigating the suspicious death of an 18-month-old girl.
Authorities were called to the Hunter's Ridge Apartment complex on Thursday afternoon.
A police spokesman said the child's parents called authorities from their unit on Lambert Street around 2:30 p.m. because their daughter was unresponsive in a bedroom.
Several officers, detectives and fire department personnel surrounded the unit marked 528.
Authorities said no other details would be available until the child's body returns from the Medical Examiner's Office.
