FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Four people were rescued at Lake Rim Park in Fayetteville after their canoe capsized.
It happened Sunday afternoon at about 12:30 p.m.
The canoe had two adults, two children, and two dogs. Our crew at the scene said one of the dogs jumped out and a man jumped in after.
When he tried to get back in, the canoe tipped sending everyone into the water.
The Fayetteville fire department was dispatched and sent six swimmers to help while a rescue boat was being launched.
All four and both dogs got out safely and had no injuries, according to authorities.
This is the second water rescue for the Fayetteville authorities since Friday.
