African-American film festival held in Cary

CARY (WTVD) -- Movie lovers flocked to Cary for the town's first African-American film festival.

The event showcases features and short films by and about African-Americans. Both local and national filmmakers took part.

The screenings include panel discussions and questions and answer sessions and ABC11's Joel Brown join in the discussion on Saturday.

Most of the screenings are free and the event runs through Sunday.
