Report: Durham man found suffering from gunshot wounds in car

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are investigating after a man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a car in the 600 block of Middle Street.

Officers responded to the incident shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Officials say the man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body, one to each shoulder and to his right lower back area.

The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for potentially life-threatening injuries.

No other information has been released.
