Man killed in head-on collision

Head-on collision
A woman was charged with a DWI on Sunday after a deadly crash.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police responded to a deadly head-on collision on Sunday morning.



Latisha Dixon, 33, was travelling southbound on New Hope Road towards Rock Quarry Road in her Dodge Stratus around 6:30 a.m.



Officials said she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Hyundai Sonata.



The Sonata was driven by 22-year-old Terrance Smallwood.



Smallwood and Dixon were taken to WakeMed where Smallwood died from his injuries.



Her injuries were said to be serious but non-life-threatening.



Police charged Dixon with a DWI following the crash.
