Bicyclist hit, killed in Wayne County

WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A bicyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle in Wayne County on Friday night, officials say.

It happened just after 9 p.m. on Highway 111 in Goldsboro. Officials said the bicyclist was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim at this time.
